Name: Aerrow Gidson
Age: 24 years
Primary Draconium Influence: Gold
Secondary Draconium Influences: White, Black, brown
Allegiance: Dragon City
Description: Aerrow stands at 5ft 11 with black hair that goes down to his shoulder blades, though it is kept in a pony tail out of his way with M shape bangs. His eyes are light blue and he does have a slight tan. Most often he can be seen in his Dragon City Guardsmen uniform and thus atop of Lightning Strike though when he's not wearing it, he can be seen wearing simple clothing varying from dark green sleeved shirts and brown pants with black boots. Often he wears a long dark brown coat on cold days.
Personality: Aerrow is a very loyal soul to those he meets and he's rather kind. However don't let that fool you, he can be serious when it is needed and takes his duty as a guard to the city very serious. He doesn't like the idea of killing people hence why he won't go into battle as a warrior though that doesn't mean he won't rush in to try and help someone who needs it. It's also hard to detour him from something when he makes his mind up though it is also hard to change his mind on something, revealing his stubborn nature and often he points out the reason. Even though he's not one for battle really, he does like the thought of traveling and having adventurous in which he has even considered a change of jobs in order to do that, though he often talks himself into staying where he's at.
There's one other fact that keeps Aerrow where he is. It's the fact that at certain times if in enough danger than he just seems to snap, due to a bad experience he tends to have moments where he'll think and act a bit more darkly. These moments are usually brought on by him being pretty well beaten up and usually his anger plays a role in it. Usually though once he relaxes and calms down, he'll go back to his normal self.
History: Aerrow was born to two guardsmen of Dragon City. As such they raised him within the city and inspired much of his personality. Of course it was clear that the child wanted only one thing, a dragon. His parents tried to hold off on such a thing till he was a teenager, but the child's persistence forced them to give when they were ten years old. So heading to the nearest stable that had dragons for sale, they brought Aerrow with em and set to work. His parents though seemed keen to choose for their son, often pointing out the white dragons and even the brown class sadly the boy just said they weren't right. Being there for a hour, his parents had just called it quits when Aerrow found a black dragon but this one seemed different. IT was black but it was on all fours but the biggest thing was the single stripe of gold on it's head, it interested Aerrow though his parents said that he wasn't able to handle a black dragon. Confused and not happy with his parents actually doubting him, he demanded a answer as to why they thought that and they merely said it was because he was a child.
Not accepting it as a answer, Aerrow stayed put with his back turned to his parents a non too pleased expression on his face. The dragon took notice of this and even seemed to find it funny; or at least Aerrow thought so considering the grin on it's face. The child then questioned the dragon as to how it was funny, surprising them and causing his father to grab the boy and pull him away; being a bit overprotective at the moment. The dragon though did nothing, it looked interested in the boy and the stable owner had noticed what was going on. Going over to the parents and starting to explain that the dragon was growing interested and considering how Aerrow was acting, it seemed to be the lad was pretty strong willed already. HIs parents too sidetracked with the owner, hadn't noticed that Aerrow had gone back over to the dragon's stale, and reached up to the dragon. Curious as to what the child wanted, it lowered their head and sniffed their hand, soon placing the end of it's snot against his hand. Overjoyed by this, his parents had turned their gaze over to see what was going on and it seemed like they had no choice but to get the almost pure black looking dragon; though the stripe of gold always did confuse them.
With his own dragon, Aerrow quickly took to bonding with it. Making sure to do as many activities with em as well as care for them. Due to the gold stripe on it's face, he called the dragon Lightning Strike. Two years passed and the two got along fairly well, save for the times that Lightning Strike messed around and challenged to see if Aerrow still had that same will he saw when they first met. However a change soon came that would cause another, Aerrow's cousin, Burgh and his dragon a Red dragon named Fire storm. The two were constant trouble for Aerrow and Lightning Strike, often getting on their nerves and blaming the younger one of all wrong doings in the house; which was Aerrow. Aerrow did his best to put up with it and to keep all that anger bottled up does one no good even more so when this extends over three long years with only small and short lived outbursts. One night Aerrow was unable to sleep due to his cousin putting the blame on him yet again and he was trying to figure out a way to reveal the truth to his parents; for he was risking losing Lightning Strike since his parents still thought him having a dragon was not a good idea let alone a black one. The sound of something falling over in storage room where his parents kept all their gear, new and old caught his attention and thus he headed down. What he found didn't fully surprise him.
There was Burgh but not alone, Burgh had fallen in with a street gang and they were in fact stealing. Grabbing a staff, he swung it and hit one of the goons on the back of their head rendering them out cold. However this alreted Burgh and the other one that he was there and had stumbled upon their plan, this resulted in Burgh tossing his bag of gear to the other guy and swinging a punch to Aerrow's face. Aerrow did question why Burgh was doing this when his family was nice enough to take him in, Burgh just claimed it was his plan all along and that if he made Aerrow look bad enough the theft would be put on him instead. This made Aerrow none too pleased and due to getting angrier his attempts to fight back got sloppy, this allowed for Burgh to have the upper hand and deliver more blows than Aerrow could dodge. This soon resulted in Aerrow being pretty hurt and despite this he still tried to stop his cousin. Course seeing how pathetic Aerrow looked and having a new plan, Burgh dragged Aerrow along. Lightning Strike had heard everything that was going and had tried to go aid Aerrow but he was pinned down due to Fire Storm and several other dragons; plus he too was inexperienced compared to them.
When Fire Storm was distracted by Burgh telling them to follow, Lightning Strike charged past and headed for Burgh. Though he was soon cut off once more but this time pinned down. Burgh found it amusing though Aerrow didn't, seeing his dragon in trouble he got up and swung a blow to Burgh. Since Burgh was distracted, he was able to do this and caused them to stagger back. Course Aerrow didn't wait for Burgh to get much of a footing when he landed another blow to his cousin. Something was different though but Aerrow hadn't noticed it, he was consumed by his anger toward Burgh and seeing the state Lightning Strike's current predicament. Grabbing Burgh by the collar, he ordered his cousin to call off the dragons and did so in a very loud and harsh voice. All the racket though had woken up his parents and even a few neighbors, his father came outside with his own dragon and spooked the other criminals and their dragons off. Demanding a answer from Aerrow and Burgh, Aerrow told him everything that he had saw and learned as well.
It was clear that Aerrow's father was pretty shocked by the accusation and Burgh just laughed. Saying that 'it wasn't him, look at how Aerrow was acting it was obviously him.' This didn't help Aerrow calm down and it was clear he was just more peeved by his cousin's words and was about to do something about it when Lightning Strike nudged him in the back. Snapping him out of it sort of and he released his cousin. Stating that if his father believed the words of cousin then it didn't matter since he never did believe his own son anyway but Aerrow added if he hadn't woken up his father would have much more missing than just what was taken. Going to the stable, Aerrow stayed with Lightning Strike the rest of the night. Sick and tired of being inside that house since his father had Burgh get inside for whatever reason. To his surprise once he woke up, Burgh was gone. His mother and father having kicked them out of the house despite this Aerrow wasn't the same. Sure he acted like he normally did with Lightning Strike and those whom he hanged out with but to his parents there was clearly a gap between them all. The event had clearly left a mark in more ways than one on the family. The damage by all the time Burgh was with them with his lies that it was Aerrow or his dragon, Aerrow's parents were clearly unsure on how to act with their son the theft further increased this. The same thing was with Aerrow, however he was already unsure on what to do for a whole another reason, he could recall just what happened when he let his anger take over, That was something that he couldn't allow to happen again.
Despite that, Aerrow went about life as he normally did. Once old enough, he tried out to be a guardsmen though hopefully in a different place than his father in the city. To his relief he managed to pass and was placed elsewhere, now it's just day by day life trying to keep the city safe with what's on the horizon.
Name: Lightning Strike
Bone Color: Gold-black (So probably N/A since he's not pure gold or black)
Description: Like the original and pure gold class, Lightning Strike is quadruped though he is different due to his mixed lineage since there are no longer anymore pure ones. He still does have some gold on his body, though it is very small and is only in one place, a line from the top of his head down to his snout while a large portion of him is black. His head is elongated though not as a long as a pure gold dragon, he does have the permanent grin as black dragons along with curled horns on his head. Other than those things, he looks just like a black dragon.
Personality: Lightning Strike is a loyal dragon and is a great friend to Aerrow. He puts much faith and trust into humans though this is a bad thing since not all humans can be trusted. His main concern is Aerrow's wellfare and safety, whenever something is bothering his rider, Lightning is the first to see and attempts to correct it. While his mental connection with Aerrow isn't as powerful as it is for most Black Dragons, it is strong enough to let their minds connect for a few minutes and this is often used in times of need. Despite being loyal, he does have times where he's hard to handle and will even just mess around with Aerrow or give him problems, though he seems to choose these times and they are almost never when there is something important going on; though he has done it so there is always a chance of doing it again during something important to test Aerrow's resolve to stick with him. He's a cunning sort, not as a much as most pure black dragons are but he does enjoy coming up with little schemes or a different way to tackle a problem.
