Age: 27 Years
Primary Draconium Influence: Turquoise
Secondary Draconium Influences: Black, Orange, Light-Blue
Occupation: Tracker / Hunter

Lynna is a woman who has clearly spent much of her life in the sun. Standing at nearly 5'11", she isn't going to blend into the crowd either. Her brunette hair hangs past her shoulders, only hinting at curl at the tips, but is vastly sun bleached and almost golden at the ends. She has been known to dye these bleached sections when she has coin to spare. Her skin is tan, with freckles marking her cheeks and shoulders. Her eyes are a ruddy brown, almost flashing red in the sunlight, which accompanied by angular brows can give her a rather fierce (at least perpetually grumpy) appearance.
She is built like a ruler, straight and narrow with slightly wider shoulders and narrow hips. She is fit and lean, having grown up with a very physical lifestyle. Her clothing tends to be the rattier side of practical, and really depends on her objective at the time. When she's out hunting in the wilds, she will wear clothing that helps her blend in, and have Perky roll in wet sands to help obscure his rather ostentatious colouring.
Willful. Resourceful. Vocal. You'd think you were describing her dragon, but no, Lynna has always been a piece of work. Though she has mellowed over the years, much of her youthful spunk is in tact, if provided with a somewhat more practical outlet. Brash, reckless and prideful, she has always sought the good opinion of others, possibly her greatest weakness. It doesn't take much to goad her into an argument or a fight, even against her better judgement. You'd think she was from Fierstalk she's so hot headed.
Notorious temper aside, Lynna has always been clever, and actively seeks out new challenge. She needs to be engaged with the world around her and cannot stand to be idle. She hates being outsmarted, and will often take any affronts to her intelligence personally.
She tends to have trust issues with humans, and everyone automatically starts on the social back foot. It takes a great deal of coercion to get her to call you friend or place her trust in you. She'll interact with society readily enough, but she's highly suspicious of everyone. The political climate fascinates her, and whether it is to benefit from it further or become more intimately involved she would jump at the chance.
Lynna was born in Echo Valley, and lived there for much of her life. Her family were dragon breeders, a small but quietly successful operation run by her father and mother. She has an older sister and brother, and two younger twin brothers. As a child, she was keenly interested in the breeding and training of the dragons for the tribe, but began to wander once she was older, determined to prove she was something to the older children and teens. Outspoken, even for a citizen of Echo Valley, she was wild and unruly, resisting authority and order and ruffling a few feathers along the way. Her only disciplined actions were with the dragons, whom she respected greatly (and just as well too, for small children can make an easy mouthful).
She was given Percuss as a training assignment to at the very least take up time that would otherwise be spent making trouble, and the two argued like an old married couple day and night. The little girl and the leggy dragon always seemed to be at odds, both too stubborn to back down, and her mother often wondered whether she had ruined the creature, given it her willful spirit so it might never choose a rider. So it was a great surprise when the dragon chose Lynna as his rider at the tender age of ten.
That was not the end of the reckless behavior though, far from it. The pair were so alike they could have been of one mind - combative, willful, to cunning for their own good and in constant need of amusement. If anything, the young dragon only provided more opportunity for delinquency, but at least her parents felt she had someone looking out for her. Both dragon and girl were gangling teens and somewhat outcasts, joining the other older youths in rag tag races that they rarely won. They took solace in one another's company and were nigh inseparable.
This detachment from the grain of society continued into adulthood, where Lynna still had not grown out of her childish disobedience. Her father grew increasingly weak by the day, and passed away quietly, leaving the breeding operation to his aging wife and children. Lynna's older siblings took over the every day running, but disallowed her involvement, claiming their father's tolerance of her had been indulgent and ill advised. Lynna had never been close to either of them, so perhaps it was to be expected. Shamed by such a public display of family disunity, she and Perky left one morning trailing a merchant caravan and never looked back.
They had not a single drakkal between them, but both rider and steed were crafty, hunting wild game and selling it to traders along the road. Their talents for delinquency came in handy, occasionally pick pocketing the unwary, and indeed grew with time. They were still misfits, but they answered to no one, and they were content. The politics of imminent war have not passed them by, indeed Lynna uses them to her advantage where she can, playing the struggling refugee or on people's fears.
The pair calls no place home, divvying their time between swindling customers in Dragon City or poaching from the wilds. The pair have become especially adept at tracking, and are well enough known in some circles that this offers some pay as well.
Name: PERCUSS [per-KUS]
Nickname: Perky, Cuss if he's been naughty
Size: Small (20hh)
Bone Color: Turquoise
Percuss, better known to his rider as Perky, is a lanky quadruped yet to grow into himself fully. His colouring matches his temperament, with bold splashes of fleshy colour complimenting his vibrant teal pelt. His head is mauve, fading to light fleshy tones at the tip of his horns. This same mauve edges the bright coral tones that are primarily situated on his underside and belly. Two strips of this colour also run down either side of his neck. On his face, neck and tail he has eye spots which he uses to confuse prey and opposing dragons alike. Five inverted eyespots run along his back.
Anatomically, his hips are quite a bit higher than his shoulder, though the discrepancy evens out more when he runs. His motion is something akin to a cheetah, and he uses his long semi-rigid tail both for steering and balance. His eyes are quite small and emulate the tones of his underbelly. His head is of an average size, with a mildly pronounced under bite. His talons are quite thin and sharp, with wide paws.
Percuss has a bit of an eclectic personality, but he was nicknamed Perky for a reason. Like many Sonic Class dragons, Perky is a very vocal personality indeed. His vocals are both loud and widely varied, he has a certain talent for mimicing odd sounds and other dragons. His natrual tone is quite high pitched and dare they say it, girly, for a male dragon, though he can resonate lower frequency sounds as well. His crooning 'singing' voice is really quite pretty.
He has always been quite sensitive - emotionally and to the world around him. It doesn't take much to upset him, and you never know whether he will go and sulk or react more aggressively (and loudly). Typically quite difficult to get close to, it takes a great deal of patience to earn his trust (indeed to deal with him on a regular basis). Once it is earned however, he is quite a playful creature, even if his moods may be fickle. He reacts especially well to treats and scratches under the chin, 'perking' up considerably. Luckily considering his moods, he is also not one to hold grudges against anyone he holds dear, though this is less true of strangers. Trust is required for forgiveness.
When around other dragons, he is typically not the most dominant in the group and may be picked on by others. This causes him great grief on a regular basis, and has resulted in him growing up around people more than many other sonic class dragons. As a result, he also isn't the most friendly with other dragons on first acquaintance; always on the defensive. He is clever and quite intuitive, with a known knack for getting into places he shouldn't.
